A/V Qualifications: Executive Producer, Director (single / multi-cam), Television Master Control, EFP-ENG work.
I've produced audio visual content for almost 28 years in the broadcast television and corporate communication worlds. I've produced and directed in both studio & field production environments, in both analog and digital formats. I've produced, directed, lit, directed talent (both armature and professional), shot (read cameraman), and edited with and for some of the largest companies and stars around. Here's a list of some of my past clients. ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, Lifetime, Time Warner, A&E, Dave De Spaine Productions
For those of you who might not know what A/V production is, it's Lights-camera-action-snip and cut, and editing. Prior to moving to the northwoods, I've owned and run a small independent production company, VIDTEK Communications Group for 28 years. Those years, projects, and clients give way to some pretty diverse methods and resources that not many can lay claim to. From Fortune 50 company's, to local Ma n Pa company's, I've worked with them all. No project is to large, or to small. Call, you'll be glad you did.

Audio / Music :
As a side note, I retired from playing music on stage for money, 31 years ago August '08. I still love music, the folks who make music, and most of all, the music they make. Here are some of my ole wall hangers that I've managed to collect over the years. There are many enjoyable hours hanging here, and a few more stashed away in the back room which I don't use much anymore.

The Audio Edit Bay has 2 dual screen P4 computers for editing both Audio Editing, and Video. A flat screen HD monitor is available for monitoring work, examples, or a finished product. We use both the Sony Suite of editing tools Vegas, Studio, & Acid, and the Pinnacle Suite. For extremely large audio / video projects we can integrate our ///Fast VM system with almost any combination of analog / digital tapes. We still carry 1/2 tracks, cassette, and a host of video formats from which to grab audio. We currently have an audio library of over 1,000 cuts for our television and corporate clients to choose from if they do not want to have original music composed for their projects.

I've added some guitars to the wall of shame since I first posted the two pictures above.
(YES) There are 2 right handed guitars on the wall. I have no idea why I caved into the pleas from musicians who stopped by to have at least one right handed guitar around. Well, I went out and bought a Samik OM-8CE, A beautiful guitar, with an excellent natural tone. I've had some requests to identify what's what on the wall. Well w/out the close ups that were also requested, here's what's in the picture today.
GUITARS Left to Right:
Washburn - D10C-LH (Acoustic / Electric) Typical Washburn Jumbo sound. Nice Player.
Samik -OM-8CE (Acoustic / Electric) Big Sound, both in acoustic or plugged in. **I must say, it's nice for a righty**
Malden - Karma (Solid Body Mahogany w/2 Humbuckers) A very vestal sounding guitar. Bright, Nasty, Mellow (Les Paul studio style sound)
Rock AXe - 3/4 size righty ... It is what it is. :)
Carvin - 1985 DC-150 Stereo. Maple through and through. Factory original stereo custom ordered Carvin. Total Tone Control of this beast. Single coil to buzzed up / phased in/out sounds. Probably my favorite guitar of all my collection. (more not hung up)
Malden - Holly Keyser F-hole Semi-Hollow Body. California arched top F hole guitar. Very nice player. Depending on what you're playing through (w/out effects) it goes form a Bright and almost jumbo (ES335) sound to a jazzy airy sound. Typical F-hole sound. GREAT neck on this bad boy, just like the Malden Karma.
Schecter - Diamond Acoustic Electric Guitar (Fiber Round Back) This is an extremely easy playing acoustic guitar. Excellent natural tone with it's EQ. A Schecter by any other name is still a Schecter.
Giatoni - Acoustic - Electric Thin Body. Why I bought this piece of crap I'll never know. It sounded good at the time I did it. Though, that being said, it sounds excellent when amp'd. It's a short scale Italian made guitar wannabe. If I ever get a group back together and play, I'll probably smash it on stage, just for the smash effect! ;)
Yamaki - Y-110 Jumbo Acoustic. (1971 or '72) A very very very nice sounding jumbo. They say that old wood sounds like nothing else, and this guitar proves it. I've dropped a Lawrence pickup in the sound hole, and that picks up the natural tone that this guitar generates. Not a very well known guitar (Yamaki NOT Yamaha) as it had limited distribution in the USA back in the early '70's, but it's a highly collectable guitar line.
Guitar Quilt - A kickback - retro look to a classic guitar body style, the Fender Stratocaster. I saw this and it went to the buy it now list. You don't see many guitar quilts, let alone left handed ones. Thanks to the maker.
I happen to be a firm believer in the quality of sound that comes from classic older equipment. It could be because that is what I use. If you are of like mind, and want to chat about the old, the new, or the weird stuff in music, give a holler or drop an email to me. I always love talking to fellow musicians about music, and also to aspiring artists.
AMPLIFIERS:
My amplifiers are diversified and hold unique places in what I produce. They range from a classic 1972 Fender Deluxe Reverb, and a 1971 Traynor Custom Reverb head with 2=12 Cerwin Vegas, a 1977 Peavey Classic 1-12 Amp, Marshall Solid State studio amps, to a recent collection of "Drive" solid state amplifiers. The effects I use range from digital rack mounts to any number of standard floor pedals. As a weekend warrior musician for the past number of decades, I think I have been able to collect a nice group of sounds for whatever style music happens to cross my path.
Do you know of a musician that needs some help recording, or is looking for a producer?
I'm currently looking for 2 entities to work with.
Singles / Duo's / Groups.
Talk to me, maybe we can find some middle ground and git 'r done!
